Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to help you feel confident and supported as you explore Summit Christian Academy.
What grades does Summit Christian Academy serve?
Based on current enrollment, we are serving up through 8th grade. For ages 9-12th, inquire about opportunities. Each stage of learning is shaped by our classical Christian model—helping students grow in wisdom, character, and a love for learning.
What is classical Christian education?
Classical Christian education follows the time-tested Trivium approach—Phonics School, Grammar School, Logic School, and Rhetoric School. It equips students to think deeply, communicate clearly, and understand the world through a biblical lens. (This section can link to the “Who We Are” page where the full definition lives.) Read More.

Tuition Promise: Tuition should not exceed 12% of your family’s net income.

Scholarships: We offer need-based scholarships to help make an SCA education attainable for every family. If you need support beyond payment plans and discounts, our scholarship program is here to partner with you.
What are your class sizes?
Our classrooms are intentionally small, with a 1:16 teacher-to-student ratio, allowing teachers to know each student personally and support their individual growth academically, spiritually, and emotionally.
Do students wear uniforms?
Yes. Our uniform policy helps create a focused learning environment, reduces distractions, and builds a sense of unity among students.
What extracurricular activities do you offer?
Depending on grade level, we offer a variety of opportunities such as athletics, clubs, service projects, arts, and special events that enrich the student experience.
How does SCA support students spiritually?
Faith is woven into everything we do—daily routines, classroom discussions, service opportunities, and campus culture. Students participate in Bible classes, worship, and Christ-centered mentorship from teachers who care deeply about the whole child.
Can parents volunteer or get involved?
Absolutely! We love partnering with families. Parents can assist in classrooms, support events, join prayer groups, help with fundraising, or serve in many other ways.
How do I schedule a campus tour?
You can schedule a tour anytime here. We’d love to show you around, answer your questions, and help you picture your child thriving here.
What makes Summit Christian Academy different?
Our families tell us it’s the combination of deeply rooted faith, classical learning, small community feel, and the way every child is known and cared for. We aren’t just a school—we’re a place where students grow as learners and as disciples of Christ.
I’m thankful that when they come home, they are memorizing scripture and spending the day with teachers that have a strong faith and are sharing it with them throughout the day.
