At Summit Christian Academy, we see every student as a whole person created in the image of God. Our admissions process is designed to help your family get to know our community, understand classical Christian education, and discern if Summit is the right long-term home for your child.
Begin Your Summit Journey
Take the next step toward a Christ-centered, classical education for your child.
Schedule a Tour
See Summit in action.
Walk the halls, step into classrooms, and experience the warmth of our community. A campus tour is the best way to get a feel for our teachers, students, and classical Christian approach.
On this tour, you can:
- Visit classrooms across grade levels
- Learn how classical Christian education works day-to-day
- Ask questions about curriculum, schedules, and student life
Admissions Steps
Our simple four-step process:
Submit the online application for each student
Create your account, verify your email, and then log in to start a New Student Application. You can save your progress and return to your application anytime.
A non-refundable $127 fee is required per family. Set up your online account here.
Family Interview & Student Assessment
After your application is submitted, our admissions team will contact you to schedule a family interview. The application provides us with basic background information, and the interview gives us the opportunity to get to know your family, your child, and your educational goals.
As part of this step, a student assessment is completed. Following the interview and assessment, families will be notified if an invitation to enroll is extended.
Invitation to Enroll & Enrollment Packet
After the family interview and review of all required materials, you will be notified of our admissions decision. If an invitation to enroll is extended, you will receive access to the FACTS enrollment process, along with an enrollment packet. For students transferring from another school, a Transfer of Records form will also be provided.
Finalize financial arrangements
All tuition and financial arrangements must be understood and confirmed before admission is considered final.

Admissions Requirements
Admissions Requirements for Parents
We view education as a partnership between home and school. To support that partnership, we ask that parents:
1. Understand our biblical philosophy and purposes
While parents are not required to be Christians, they should have a clear understanding of the biblical philosophy and purposes of Summit Christian Academy, and be willing for their child to be taught from a distinctly Christian worldview in all areas of school life.
2. Support our Statement of Faith and spiritual environment
Parents should be willing to have their child regularly exposed to the clear teaching of our Statement of Faith through classroom instruction, chapel, and other school activities.
3. Cooperate with school policies
Parents should be willing to support and uphold all written school policies, especially in the areas of discipline, work standards, attendance, and communication with teachers and administration.
Admissions Requirements for Students
To help ensure a good fit and appropriate placement, we ask that students meet the following basic requirements:
1. Playschool
A child must be three years old by August 15th of the fall in which they enter playschool.
2. Kindergarten age
A child must be five years old by August 15th of the fall in which they enter kindergarten.
3. Grade placement & readiness
If a child has successfully completed the previous school year and their academic work and behavior compare favorably to the corresponding grade level at Summit, they will be placed in the grade for which they are applying. If there is evidence that a student may not be adequately prepared for the next grade level, and with parent agreement, the school may recommend repeating the previous grade.
4. Understanding of authority
Students should understand that their parents have delegated authority to the school. They are expected to respect and respond to the instruction and discipline of teachers and administration in their roles at Summit Christian Academy.
5. Nondiscrimination
Summit Christian Academy does not discriminate against any student or applicant on the basis of race, color, or national/ethnic origin. Access our Nondiscriminatory Policy.
